Philip started Youles motorcycles in 1985. His first bike was a Honda SS50 and he passed his test on a YB100. Philip can ride anything from a unicycle to a supercharged Rocket 3. His most terrifying moment was a flight in a Jet Provost fighter trainer. He enjoys the banter with both customers and trade.
Louise joined Youles motorcycles in 2001 having previously worked at Lancashire County Council in the Treasurers Department. When she met Philip she had a Saturday job delivering cakes. Louise recons her fast driving did result in a few damaged cakes, however these ended up as damage in transit. We recon it was more a case of ate in transit!
Peter has worked for Youles Motorcycles since April 2005. He started as a van driver then worked on service reception and after sales at Blackburn before transferring to run the Manchester Branch. Peter plays the guitar and used to own a Lambretta – but sometimes rides a Bonneville!
Kieran has been with the company since the beginning of January 2011 he is enjoying the transition from selling garden machinery to that of selling motorcycles and scooters. Kieran is bike mad having owned many different makes and models but most of all enjoyed the ride he had on the new Tiger the other day.
Gary started in September 2009 and deals with parts, clothes and reception enquiries. He rides a Street Triple and has a SV650 for when the salts out! He previously worked in the cycle trade.
Jon previously worked at the Blackburn branch as senior technician until the opening of the new Triumph dealership in Manchester where he moved to head up the busy Triumph workshop. He has been with the company for several years now attending Triumph and Piaggio courses to keep up to date with the changes within the industry. He is also an M.O.T tester. Jon’s own bike is a 96 Suzuki DR 350 SE Enduro.
Derek has been with us since 2006 and has many years of experience within the motorcycle trade. Derek’s methodical approach to problems and his ability to diagnose the exact cause of a fault is probably one of the best in the industry. But beware of his dog he has an industrial pooch.
